Merkly started inside a furniture and home decor store. Producing listings meant a chain of separate AI tools: one for cutouts, one for scenes, one for copy, and a folder of files to sort, retry and upload by hand.
It cost less than a photo shoot. It took far more time. No tool owned the whole job, and none of them knew what the brand looked like.
